Proper Length of a HammockAs general rule the longer the hammock the more comfortable it is. A hammock should be at least two feet Longer than the height of the person in it. If you are four feet tall you should have at least a six foot long hammock. I've also found that a good width is right around five feet. This create a good wrap around feeling that won't make you feel like you're falling out.
