Minimum Length for a HammockThe shortest length for a hammock is ten feet. If you go any shorter than this you will be creating a large hammock chair instead of a hammock bed. The idea of a hammock is to create a large space that cradles your body. You cannot do this with limited fabric. The bigger the better with hammocks and besides you may want to invite someone to join you.
